The limited supply of available rental units continues to put upward pressure on local rents. Searching the MLS I found 77 available rental units: 35 of which were asking more than $5,000/month, only 5 of which were asking less than $2,500/month. In the next 12 months we may see 200~ new apartments come to the market from that new mixed-use project on Thousand Oaks Blvd., and I imagine they’ll be gone in days depending upon price.
